I was born and live in the countryside of Slovenia. Our family has always had animals, including dogs. I watched a movie starring a Rottweiler almost 30 years ago, and I fell in love with this breed. I saved money, and in 1992, my first Rottweiler came into my life.

The Rottweiler introduced me to a completely new and different world – the world of kennels, shows, and working with dogs. Me and my first Rottweiler, Pal, participated in several shows and successfully established the basics of training. However, I wanted something more – a Rottweiler from the breed's country of origin, Germany.

I started attending special shows abroad and making contacts with ADRK breeders. Diego vom Hertener Wappen came into my house in 2002. After all, the Rottweiler is a working breed. He passed IPO III, and I competed with him in obedience. The greatest success was participating in the highest program, IPO III, at the IFR World Championship. Diego was also a very successful show dog.

Female Tina von der Teufelsbrücke came to me a few years later in 2007. I decided to register the kennel with the affix "vom Aruncus Tal." Aruncus is the Latin name for a plant that grows in our valley. I bought Cay von der Crossener Ranch in 2012. I trained her in obedience and she passed IPO exams.

My other female from Germany, Eyka von der Urbacher Hohe, unfortunately had only one litter. With a good combination of famous bloodlines, I decided to keep: Che Guevara von Aruncus Tal and her sister, Cora von Aruncus Tal. They represent the show and breeding future of my kennel.

Currently, I own Debbi von der Crossener Ranch, a sister of Dhana KZS 2019. I also have a young male named Tom von der Crossener Ranch II from 2022, and my young hope for 2023, Flicka vom Aruncus Tal.

I have always wanted something more that would connect me with dogs. I passed the exam to become a show judge in 2001. I have judged various important special Rottweiler shows and KS all over Europe. For over 20 years, I have been a breeding referee in the Kennel Club of Slovenia. This role serves as an important connection between breeders, clubs, and the Kennel Club. Furthermore, I have been a member of ADRK since 1996.

The Rottweiler is a working breed, and I am proud of my work because I prepare all my dogs for working exams and shows by myself. I believe I have been quite successful in my work and have a wonderful life with Rottweilers.
